Just as nature goes through its own transformation this winter, getting into the winter arc is really about personal growth and development.

And while this may be very inspiring, the winter arc can become problematic if we forget about a couple of facts:

• we have less energy during winter
• we actually need more maintenance and self-care rather than major changes
• the last thing we need is feeling guilty for not being productive.

So instead of adding unnecessary pressure remind yourself that maybe you don’t even need a winter arc. Maybe what you need is to slow down and give yourself permission to rest and truly enjoy this time of year 🤍

So here are three favorite, tried and tested strategies to keep perfectionism and impostor syndrome in check:

1. *Set good enough goals*

Boil them down to what is absolutely necessary. This will help you stay focused on getting things done rather than wasting time trying to achieve perfection.

2. *Always always always reframe mistakes as learning opportunities*

This will encourage you to embrace your progress and growth instead of bashing yourself for not being perfect.

3. *Write down every single thing you achieve and create an achievements list*

This will help you have a realistic view of how many great things you actually achieve on a daily basis. It’s basically like a worm hug when you feel like you’re not good enough. Add large and small achievements, professional and personal ones to your list!
